Widely recognised for our warm and friendly atmosphere, Great Torrington Golf Club always welcomes both new members and visitors.

The 9 hole golf course is a true challenge even to the most experienced and skilful players - it is a par 64, with very different tee positions for the second nine giving it a markedly different character. Whilst it is a challenging course it is also suitable for golfers of all ability and beginners and juniors are welcome.

You will find our golf course is located in one of the prettiest parts of North Devon, high above the River Torridge with some truly spectacular views, yet we are only 5 minutes from the centre of Great Torrington. Located on heath-land with excellent drainage our course is rarely closed during the winter months. The condition of our course in general and the greens in particular, is renowned throughout the County.

Our competitive pricing structure caters for most golfers’ requirements and offers a wide choice at excellent value with special reductions to encourage juniors.

The Club is over 100 years old (founded in 1895). Our bar and restaurant both offer a good selection of meals together with a daily specials board.
